The “Passage” artwork by Philippe Dodard is central to the design, bringing a powerful visual element to the Olympic Uniforms. This striking artwork is showcased on a full skirt for the women’s uniform and elegantly incorporated into the men’s pants, creating a cohesive and culturally rich look. When the Haiti Olympic team participated in the boat parade along the Seine River on July 26th to mark the Paris games opening, their uniforms immediately garnered widespread praise. International Acclaim and Cultural Significance

Seven athletes proudly represent Haiti at the Olympics amidst ongoing challenges in their home nation. The team includes notable figures such as Haitian-American gymnast Lynnzee Brow, making history as the first gymnast to represent Haiti at the Olympic level. Another remarkable athlete is swimmer Mayah Chouloute, at just 14 years old, the youngest member of the Haitian delegation. Reflecting the significance of Stella Jean’s Olympic uniforms, they are set to be exhibited at the Haitian National Pantheon Museum in Port-au-Prince. This exhibition will further celebrate the blend of fashion, sport, and Haitian culture on a national stage. Stella Jean’s designs for the Olympic uniforms not only dressed the Haiti team but also carried a deeper message of Haitian pride and artistic expression onto the global platform of the Paris 2024 Olympics.
