Korean Air has introduced a refreshed line of eco-conscious uniforms for its maintenance, aerospace, cargo, and ground handling personnel, set to be implemented starting April 1. These updated Korean Airlines Uniform designs prioritize inclusivity and cater to the diverse needs of the airline’s workforce.

For warmer climates or seasons, summer uniforms include breathable mesh panels behind the knees to improve ventilation and comfort. Reflective tape is integrated into the uniforms to significantly boost visibility in low-light conditions, ensuring employee safety across various operational settings. The comprehensive range of uniform items, including T-shirts, vests, windbreakers, and heavy jackets, allows employees to select appropriate attire based on their specific tasks and seasonal weather variations, promoting both comfort and functionality.

To ensure optimal fit and functionality across diverse tasks, Korean Air conducted trial fitting sessions at its Seoul headquarters, Busan Tech Center, and Incheon Hangar over four days starting from March 26, demonstrating a commitment to employee satisfaction and uniform effectiveness.
This uniform update follows Korean Air’s successful safety footwear program launched in May 2023. That initiative allowed staff working in airports, hangars, and cargo terminals to choose from a variety of safety shoes, emphasizing personalized fit and comfort.
