Mexican War Artillery Shell Jacket

For artillery units, we offer the #700A Mexican War Artillery Shell Jacket. Similar in design to the infantry jacket, this shell jacket is also made from sky blue wool and features the pointed back. The key distinction lies in the trim: this artillery jacket uses yellow tape on the square stand-up collar and epaulettes. It also includes two front pockets and functional sleeves. Brass eagle buttons with the “A” shield emblem are used for the nine-button front, collar, and epaulettes, accurately representing artillery uniforms of the Mexican War.

Brass Eagle buttons with the “D” shield (5/8”) adorn the twelve-button front and collar, completing the Dragoon uniform.

Authentic details include correctly placed pockets under the front flap and real bone buttons. Hemming is available for an additional fee, but inseams below 30” are not offered.
