Mountaineer fans, mark your calendars! The highly anticipated season opener for App State Football against the Charlotte 49ers has been rescheduled. Originally set for Thursday, August 28th, the game will now take place on Friday, August 29th at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. This Duke’s Mayo Classic matchup promises to be an exciting start to the season, and you won’t want to miss it.
While the kickoff time and TV broadcast details are still to be announced, ticket information is available now so you can plan to cheer on the Mountaineers. App State Athletics has announced a tiered ticket presale for Yosef Club members, offering priority access based on membership level. This exclusive presale begins Tuesday, February 11th, for Circle of Excellence members and the highest-level Yosef Club members ($5,000-$24,999), continuing until February 14th. Members at the $3,500-$4,999 and $1,500-$3,499 levels will have their presale windows from February 17th-21st and February 24th-28th respectively, followed by Yosef Club members up to $1,499. Each group will receive a direct email from the ticket office with specific start times for their presale access.
For App State students, a special presale will be held the week of March 17th, with tickets priced at $25. The general public online ticket sale is scheduled to begin the week of April 7th. Ticket prices for the 2025 Duke’s Mayo Classic start at $50 for Bowl Seats in Sections 118-120 and 227-234, going up to $90 for prime Bowl Seats in Sections 108, 110-115. Club Level seating options are also available, ranging from $75 for Club C seats to $135 for the premium Club A experience.
Remember, purchasing your tickets directly through the App State ticket office before June 1st ensures that revenue benefits App State Athletics. Tickets will be allocated based on Yosef Club rank as of early summer 2025. All tickets are mobile and will be distributed electronically by the Charlotte Sports Foundation with detailed instructions sent to purchasers prior to ticket delivery.
