Size Modernization Program (SMP) and the Summer White Over Blouse
The Navy is currently undertaking a significant five-year uniform improvement initiative known as the Size Modernization Program (SMP). Initially focused on female uniform enhancements, the SMP aims to provide all Sailors with a more modernized and consistent uniform sizing system. Phase One of this program introduces the Summer White Over Blouse, a short-sleeved, optional component for officers and Chief Petty Officers to be worn with the Summer White Service Uniform.
