Every so often, while navigating the vast expanse of the internet, you stumble upon something truly fascinating. Often, these discoveries are accidental, leading you down unexpected paths. Recently, a discussion about potential websites, specifically one tracking NFL fines, sparked an internet exploration that unearthed a hidden gem: proof of concept designs for Green Bay Uniforms.
This journey began with a simple domain name check for “NFLfines.com.” While brainstorming logos for this hypothetical site, a Google search for NFL logos led to an obscure blog showcasing concept uniforms for the Green Bay Packers. A blog post dated February 25, 2012, further traced back to the original designs by BKRDSN, a Minneapolis-based design firm (http://www.bkrdsn.com/).

Curiosity piqued, the next step was to uncover the story behind these green bay uniforms concepts. Why would a design firm from Minneapolis, of all places, be creating potential new looks for the Green Bay Packers? This led to the invaluable tool of the internet age: The Wayback Machine. This digital archive captures snapshots of websites over time. A search revealed the original B Inspired: NFL Teams post from February 6th, 2012 on the BKRDSN website. Though the original post has since been removed, its rediscovery allows us to appreciate these unique green bay uniforms concepts.
These designs are compelling, even for those who believe in the classic look of the current Green Bay Packers uniforms. While there’s a strong argument for tradition, there’s also room for thoughtful enhancements. One notable design element is the football-shaped “G” logo within the helmet. This witty design subtly reinforces the sport itself. Another interesting idea explored in these green bay uniforms is the use of a truer gold color in both the helmets and pants, offering a richer take on the iconic Green and Gold palette.
Moving beyond simply showcasing the original concepts, the exploration extended to envisioning potential tweaks and variations on these green bay uniforms. This included imagining how away uniforms could look and experimenting with adjustments to the helmet design and gold color distribution.
